All About Contact Tracing

This week’s episode we follow up on the recent webinar put on by the Validation Institute with St Edwards University and start to answer some of the questions we did not have time to get to. This week we focus on contact tracing, what it is and how it is used to reduce the spread of COVID19 disease

What is Contact Tracing

Contact Tracing

We discuss the urgent nature of contact tracing – the process of identifying individuals, determine who they have been in close contact with, and may have spread the disease too. We talk about the use of technology and contact tracing apps and the importance of applying human intelligence to the process to get it right

We review the impact of the “Long, thin transmission chains of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2)” that may go undetected for several weeks at low to moderate reproductive numbers: Implications for containment and elimination strategy and how this impacts contact tracing.

Our training modules are available to help businesses, education facilities, and employers get their employees, staff, customers, and students back to work and school safely in the context of COVID19
